Privacy Policy
Who we are
Our website address is: https://cybersynq.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string for spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to verify your profile image. Gravatar’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once approved, your comment and profile picture appear publicly.
Forms & Submissions
Our contact and lead-capture forms are powered by JotForm. When you submit a form, JotForm collects the fields you complete, your IP address, and any files you upload. Form data is stored on JotForm’s servers under their privacy policy (https://www.jotform.com/privacy/). We use WP Mail SMTP (or another SMTP plugin) to send your form submissions to our inbox—email logs may be stored in WordPress for troubleshooting.
Media
If you upload images, avoid including location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract any embedded location metadata.
Cookies & Local Storage
- Comments: Opt-in cookies store your name, email, and website for one year so you don’t have to retype them.
- Login: Visiting the WP login page sets a temporary cookie (no personal data) to verify your browser accepts cookies. It’s discarded on close.
- Sessions: Logging in creates cookies for login status (2 days) and screen preferences (1 year). “Remember Me” extends your session to two weeks; logging out removes these cookies.
- Edits: Publishing or editing content sets a one-day cookie indicating the post ID edited (no personal data).
- Plugin cookies:
- Elementor may set cookies to remember your editor settings—refer to Elementor’s docs for details.
- Any analytics/plugin you install should be disclosed here (e.g., Google Analytics, Rank Math).
Embedded content & Third-Party Plugins
- Embedded content (videos, iframes, etc.) behaves as if you visited the source site directly. Those sites may collect data about you and track your interactions if you’re logged in there.
- Elementor widgets, our JotForm embeds, and any other plugin components may load resources from third-party servers—each governed by its own privacy policy.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
Comments and metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and auto-approve follow-up comments.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request a copy of your personal data or ask us to erase it—except for data we must retain for legal or security reasons.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments are screened by an automated spam-detection service.
